Aufgrund ihrer Komplexität und der ständig wachsenden Anforderungen aus der Patientenversorgung und der medizinischen Forschung müssen Informationssysteme langfristig geplant, gesteuert und überwacht werden. Der Kurs stellt das Metamodell 3LGM² (3-Layer Graph-based Metamodell) zur Planung, Modellierung und Bewertung von Informationssystem-Architekturen vor. Spezielle Anforderungen an Informationssystem-Architekturen (z.B. Integrationsarten und -techniken, Datenmanagement und Datenadministration, Strukturqualität, Prozessqualität und Ergebnisqualität, regulatorische Aspekte) werden vertieft diskutiert. Die Themen des strategischen, taktischen und operativen Managements von Informationssystemen werden anhand ausgewählter Beispiele (Strategische Planung und Überwachung von Informationssystemen, Phasen und Methoden des IT-Projektmanagements, IT Service Management) erklärt und diskutiert.
